Essential Strength: Therapeutic Yoga and Resistance Training

Feel safe while building your muscles, bones and brain.

More than ever, you need strength.  Drop the ideas that "women shouldn't lift" or "I don't want to be bulky"!  To stay active as you age, simply put you need strength.

This program includes 32 classes guiding you through resistance training, even if you have pain.  In the program you will receive: 

  • Developmental classes to learn safe performance of the Essential Movements
  • Assessment to guide your starting point and answer the question:  "how much should I lift?"
  • Classes that build on the essential movements plus variety to add interest and keep you coming back.
  • Added benefits of having more energy and better balance!
  • BONUS of 10 - 30 minute classes when time is short

*For best results, you will need some resistance training equipment.  Start with what you have  (resistance bands will do) and add equipment as you feel stronger.
