Hi! I'm Dr. Stephanie, a Physical Therapist, Yoga Teacher but more importantly...

...a person who has been where you are now, in pain and doing everything to get OUT of pain.

Many years ago, I discovered yoga as the way to relieve much of my pain AND also the suffering that I was experiencing.

As a college professor and researcher, I studied why yoga helped me.  I've continued to research and now integrate research-supported methods for chronic pain relief into my programs.

I designed this webinar to highlight that freedom from persistent muscle, joint and spine pain is possible...just not in the ways you might think.

Our medical system is not designed to train you out of pain.  So if you're frustrated with the system; you've exhausted many options (physical therapy, chiropractor, acupuncture); and you've refused many others (stronger medication, injections, and surgery) you're in the right place.

“I have given myself permission to do more activities than I would have done if I had stayed with surgeon's advice to just accept pain as a side-effect of getting older

"I don’t want a quick fix (drugs). I want to understand my body and why it generates pain. Yoga makes me look inward to help lessen the pain so I can remain active"

"Your classes teach me the anatomy of my body, how it functions and how it was designed to move. If I do experience a pain flare-up, I have both the mindset and the tools to modify an activity rather than STOP."
